Finally, a knife bar I don't want to hide
I'd been putting up with a chunky wooden block taking up counter space for years, mostly because every magnetic bar I found looked like it belonged in a garage. The KURA in Maple Cognac is the first one that actually looks like it was meant for a kitchen. The wood is warm, the vegan leather has a nice bit of texture, and the whole thing reads as furniture rather than hardware.
The magnets are strong without being aggressive — knives snap on with confidence, but you're not fighting to get them off, and the leather surface means no scratches on the blades. Installation took me about 20 minutes with the included hardware — the template made it easy to get level. My chef's knife, bread knife, and a couple of paring knives.. all fit with room to spare on the 16".

The knives stick very well and can’t be shaken off even. The finish and wood grain of the maple is premium along with the vegan leather. Honestly wasn’t sure what to expect at this price but it really surprised me, even the packaging.
I put it up using the screws and anchors provided, and the drilling template was super helpful and made everything quick. I forgot to cover my countertop when I was drilling and had to clean after but no biggie lol. Loving this bar.

Solid knife bar with a strong hold. The wood grain looks really nice too, and I love the maple and leather combination. It feels and looks like a premium piece. Very happy with it.
